Jammu, 10, June, 2011: Attitude change International is soon launching Peace Magazine "Co-existence" in collaboration with Gandhian Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies. The two organizations that agreed in principle will soon sign an MOU to promote peace and understanding through media. It will be first attempt to practice peace journalism in India. The magazine will draw international experts and practitioners in peace and conflict studies and closely work with centre for peace and conflict studies with University of Sydney, Australia. It will not only serve as career/ educational resource for students and youth but also serve to researchers/experts in the field and expected to bridge the gaps by doing a solution oriented journalism. The magazine will initially be a bimonthly online publication and gradually it will be transformed into print form. The first issue of magazine is expected in August, 2011. |
